Shipping Policies Overview

Each special product arrives at your doorstep directly from the Global Souk designer who created, designed or selected it. Unless an item is bespoke or ordered, delivery is shipped out in 2-3 days and delivered normally within 3-5 working days. Our designers use Aramex Express Worldwide, Federal Express or Royal Mail to ensure speediest arrival.

As our designers are based all over the world, each designer will have specific details of delivery times, customs, returns on their product pages; so please check their pages for more detailed information.

If you have a question about a delivery for a product which you have ordered, please contact the designer directly. Their details are provided on your order confirmation email and primarily it is for them to deal with such enquiries. We at Dia Diwan are of course happy to help once you have gone through this initial step.

All of the designers take pride in offering a great service, and that includes efficient delivery. However, we are in the Middle East, where external factors completely outside of our control can delay a delivery; such as customs, irregular addresses (above the pharmacy, across from my aunt’s husband’s flower shop, in the building with a red light, yes, yes that one!) and ask for your patience and cooperation in these circumstances.

Shipping

The great thing about having no central warehouse or bulk manufacture is that each item is dispatched directly to you (often after being made specially). Of course that means that for each designer to deliver directly, safely and securely, a cost is naturally incurred for each order they send out. Moreover, we are working on a global scale where shipping costs and customs are varied. We also offer free returns on items over $250 within 7 days.

Customs

Items are shipped DDU (delivered duty unpaid). Customs duties and charges are subject to the destination country. As we are working with the Middle East and each country has its own customs levy, we are unable to predetermine the cost of the duty of the item at checkout stage. Upon arrival in the destination country, you will be contacted by your local customs bureau to advise of the customs cost. It is then your responsibility to pay these charges. Dia Diwan, nor the designer is able to help at this stage.

Insurance

Dia Diwan insures each item against theft and damage during transit. Once the good is signed for then Dia Diwan is no longer able to insure the product.

Returns

Free Returns

We offer free returns on all items excluding jewelry for purchases above $250 within 7 days. If you wish to return your order within 7 days, please send an email to globalsouk@diadiwan.com for us to arrange a collection. Dia Diwan will not be able to refund any customs charges that you have paid on your returned item.

28 day Return policy

Dia Diwan stands behind the quality we offer our customers. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with any product, we will accept it provided we receive it within 28 days of item shipment date and refund you the original purchase price, minus the shipping, handling, or other charges.
