The concept of this group exhibition ‘Neighborhood’ relates to the urban structures that Cairo’s neighborhoods possess. Their layouts are true to the characteristics of the inhabitants and true identity of the city.


Susan Hefuna’s ‘Vitrines of Afaf’ is an installation that displays every day objects used/belong to sisters, mothers or wives. These objects are exhibited in the format of the traditional mobile vitrines seen all over Cairo.
