Architect Zaha Hadid’s super high tech space-esque bar and lounge 'raises the bar' in home design. The bar is sculpted in metal and finished in matching silver leather; by the way you know silver is the new gold this season. For your F1 afficionados, the bar is also sporting a clean coat of car paint to complete the look; racy bar or racing car? Like Marmite, you will love it or hate it. Guess which i go for?

In March 2009, 1,000 pairs of limited edition Lacoste-Hadid shoes will go on sale, followed by a diffusion line the following May.

We like her.
unforgettable
Several years ago, Hadid was a visiting critic in my university's architecture program. As a lowly undergrad attending the graduate critiques, I was in awe of Zaha Hadid -- fierce intellect, stellar architect, and Near Eastern diva extraordinaire. For her part, Hadid lived up to her reputation: in the middle of the session, she managed to study an architectural model, take a call on her cell, and complain about the air conditioning -- all at once! It's a moment I won't forget.
”i wonder..
i was there..
