There is a great online community focused on bringing about change and helping people in need. A few months back I found out about a site called www.freerice.com - in which you test your vocabulary - for every word you get right, they donate 20 grains to the UN World Food Program. And, at the time, i got so hooked. Now, a friend of mine mentioned a new site (not sure if it's new, or i just found out about it!) called www.freepoverty.com - which is quite similar to freerice.com - the only difference is you get tested on your geography (a lot harder for me!) and for every right answer they donate 10 cups of water.
