Sometimes, I wish I was a graphic designer - especially in times like this, when I receive news about the Khatt Foundation and Mosaic's "Mulsaq" competition - a wall sticker competition aimed at promoting  graphic designers from the Arab world as well as helping to develop an original visual language specific to the region, whether it be with new Arabic typos or images.

Labelled as  “Khatt Design Collection”, the winning wall stickers will be produced for a limited edition of 50 numbered pieces per design and sold at design hop spots across the region as well as on line. The competition will be curated and juried by a select group of well-known designers and savvy trend setters from the region from furniture designer Nada Debs to jewelry maker Nadine Kanso.
